Poker Players use all kinds of things to cover their Texas Holdem poker hole cards. Some players don't use a card guard of any kind, but that's risky. An accidentally mucked poker hand can be disastrous. It can cost you a Big Bunch of poker chips. At games everywhere, and on TV, you'll see a wide variety of objects used as a poker card protector.
Most people want one that's personal to them, or just something unusual or unique. I ended up with an unusual one somehow. I found a half of a really large walnut shell. It was a perfect half nut, hollowed out and dried out. Somehow the term Half Nuts came to mind. It seemed not only to fit in with poker, having the nuts, or at least half the nuts, but also my Occasional state of mind. I've had a lot of comments on it from other poker players. You can Just Imagine. I have a couple other card protectors I've purchased so I don't use it every time I play, but I kind of favor it.
If you don't have some favorite object to use as your poker card protector, there are all kinds of card guards and protectors available from online poker shops. There are metal, plastic, and even Solid Sterling Silver card protectors that they will custom engraved for you with any image and text.
Poker Card Protectors come in a variety of sizes, colors, materials and shapes. There are NFL teams about paper, metal spinners, characters and poker face. There are a lot of ways, and start at about $ 7 and go from there.
If you have your patron card or pull out a pair of a shop on-line shop Up Poker, Poker is necessary to protect against tragedy. Those who think that their cards would go a bit 'more than halfNuts.
In short, always practice safe poker. Use a poker card protector of some kind. You will be glad that you did.
This was brought to you by the Practice Safe Poker Organization and the Poker Up shop. Thanks for your interest.
